Technology around the patient visit.

Phreesia combines software, payments and patient engagement across scheduling, registration, digital intake, insurance verification, communications and clinical workflows. Its customers include physician practices, specialty groups, hospitals and health systems.

A mission with real operating scale.

More than two decades of workflow experience and deep electronic health record and practice-management integrations give Phreesia a foundation for continued product expansion. The company reports more than one billion patient interactions.

From digital intake to intelligence.

Phreesia’s evolution spans digital check-in, integrated payments, mobile self-service, and now AI-enabled workflows. The company is applying automation to operational tasks such as appointment management, patient communications and payment workflows.

A remote company. A shared mission.

Phreesia operates as a fully remote company. Both roles are fully remote. Datacenter Operations is U.S.-based with Canada considered and occasional travel; Cloud & Platform Engineering is open to the U.S. and Canada, with Eastern or Central time strongly preferred.

Two leadership roles. One hybrid foundation.

Patient-facing workflows rely on infrastructure that stays available, secure and ready to scale. The Director, Datacenter Operations leads the physical estate and its operating teams. The Director, Cloud & Platform Engineering leads cloud capabilities, developer enablement and software delivery. Together with Site Reliability and Security, these leaders help build one cohesive hybrid platform.

02 / Product & technology

One connected patient journey.

Phreesia brings software, payments and engagement into the workflows before, during and after a healthcare visit.

Access & intake

  • Scheduling, appointment management and reminders
  • Digital registration, consents and clinical screenings
  • Insurance eligibility verification and patient information capture

Payments & engagement

  • Patient payments and revenue-cycle workflows
  • Patient communications, outreach and surveys
  • Clinical data collection, patient activation and analytics

Connected to clinical systems

Deep EHR and practice-management integrations allow information to move into and out of the systems healthcare organizations already use. These connections reduce duplicate entry and support consistent workflows.

AI inside the workflow

Phreesia is embedding AI and automation into healthcare operations. VoiceAI is one example, supporting inbound and outbound patient calls for workflows such as scheduling, payments and appointment management.

Trust is part of the architecture.

Healthcare workflows involve protected health information and payment data. Across these roles, security belongs in patching, hardening, access controls, vulnerability management and incident response—not just in an annual audit.

Beyond the provider workflow

Phreesia’s Network Solutions business connects life sciences organizations with relevant patients and healthcare providers through tailored health content. Products such as PatientConnect, ProviderConnect and MediFind extend the company’s patient engagement capabilities.

Remote leadership. Real operational accountability.

There is no scheduled on-call rotation for this role. The estate runs 24×7, and the Director may be called in for major escalations. Working closer to U.S. Eastern time is easier. Occasional travel is required for in-person events and datacenter visits.

04 / The role

Director, Cloud & Platform Engineering

Build the cloud and software platform that helps Phreesia’s engineering teams move quickly, securely and reliably.

100% remote · U.S. & CanadaEastern or Central time strongly preferredReports to Will Snow, VP Infrastructure

Lead the team responsible for the cloud and software platform Phreesia’s engineers build and deploy on. Own the foundational capabilities that make production delivery easier: cloud policy and governance, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, cloud networking and self-service deployment paths.

Modernize without a cliff migration.

Help teams move from .NET/Windows toward .NET Core, Linux, containers and Kubernetes incrementally while keeping critical systems running. Build clear, supported platform paths that balance strong defaults with pragmatic technology choices.

Build the platform

  • Define and drive the technical direction for Phreesia’s cloud and platform capabilities.
  • Own cloud policy and governance for production systems across a hybrid, multi-cloud environment spanning AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Own the cloud deployment on-ramp—the infrastructure-as-code templates, tooling, and paths product teams use to deploy into the cloud.
  • Own and evolve CI/CD pipelines used to build and deploy software across both cloud and datacenter environments.
  • Own the cloud networking foundation, including transit gateways, Direct Connect/interconnect, and cloud connectivity.
  • Build and maintain self-service, paved-road platform capabilities that make it easier for engineering teams to deploy secure, scalable infrastructure.
